Instead of the linear mission based style of Dynasty Warriors proper, Empires lets you conquer Ancient China territory by territory, similar to a board game like Risk. The tactical action expansion of Dynasty Warriors 8 will focus on the lives of its 83 playable characters, and will even let players create their own custom hero.
Koei Tecmo America announced today that the latest entry in its popular Dynasty Warriors series, Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires, will arrive in North America on January 27, 2015.
